A road winds for 18km/11mi through a pleasant verdant gorge to the park's Miette Hot Springs, which are rich in natural minerals and the hottest in the Canadian Rockies (maximum temperature: 54°C/129°F). Among all the thermal springs in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, this one undoubtedly occupies the most spectacular setting, framed by high mountains.
