This pagoda built in 1601 houses A Di Da, the Buddha of the Past, Thich Ca, the historical Buddha (Sakyamuni) and Di Lac Buddha, the Buddha of the Future, all of which are made of shining copper. Van Thu, the goddess of Wisdom and Intelligence, and Pho Hien, the god of Generosity and Forgiveness are also worshipped at the pagoda. Outside the pagoda, but still within the sanctuary enclosure, a seven-storey tower built in 1844 is now one of the emblems of Hué, and symbolises the different reincarnations of the Buddha.
