The top of Schareck (altitude 2 604m) can be reached by cable car. It offers an impressive panoramic view: to the west, over 40 summits higher than 3 000m, including the Schildberg and the Grossglocknergruppe, and to the east the Gjaidtroghöhe, the highest point of the ski area, with the Hocharn to its left.
