A heavy wrought-iron gate leads into this 7ha/17acre park, open to the public since 1867. It is a fine example of a sprawling Victorian garden, complete with weeping willows, ponds, fountains, statues, formal flowerbeds and an ornate bandstand. Concerts are held here on Sunday afternoons (2-4pm) in summertime.
