The Schuhhof is surrounded by half-timbered houses, some of which are supported by galleries. In the narrow Münzstrasse, note the former Mint dating from 1500. Opposite the Marktkirche, you can see the pointed roof of the Brusttruch, built in 1526. The Bakers' Guild Hall is also interesting, as are the Renaissance houses decorated with fan motif friezes at the crossroads of the Markstrasse and Bäckerstrasse.
