Visitors may poke through the blacksmith's shop, ice house, barn, mine owner's cabin and other buildings-each outfitted with some original tools and furnishings-or pan for gold in frothy Crow Creek. A clutch of weathered turn-of-the-century buildings lends an authentic air of bygone days to this ski resort area. In its heyday, the mine yielded about 700 ounces of gold a month.
