Opinião do Guia Michelin
Set on the Santee River, this Lowcountry indigo plantation was the birthplace of Thomas Lynch Jr., who at the age of 26 was the youngest legislator to sign the Declaration of Independence. Built in black cypress, this two-storey Georgian house (1740) with a sloping roof and elegant double piazza added in 1846 is now privately owned. Inside the house, visitors can admire fine examples of American and European furniture dating from the 18C and 19C.
