The smallest of the Ionian Islands, calm and peaceful Paxos is renowned for the thousands of olive groves that cover its low mountains. Its three little ports (Gaïos, Longos and Lakka) retain their authenticity, and its pebble beaches remain lovely, despite their popularity in high season.
