At the entrance to a small, tree-shaded park, the Villa Stibbert (19C) houses the art collections brought together by the Garibaldian Anglo-Italian hero Federico Stibbert. These include weapons and armour, sculptures, paintings, furniture, earthenware, tapestries, curios and costumes dating from the Renaissance to the 19C. The hundreds of pieces of ancient armour merit a special mention.
