Monumento civil e militar
A opinião do Guia Michelin
Purchased by the Medicis in 1477 and embellished by Lorenzo the Magnificent, the villa was destroyed in 1527, which led Duke Cosimo I to entrust its reconstruction and the creation of a garden to Tribolo. It is now home to the Accademia della Crusca, the aim of which is to protect the Italian language. The garden comprises a large Italianate parterre, created with an exquisite sense of proportion which showcases to the fore Tribolo's central fountain adorned with bronze figures.
