Medersas, places of worship and religious instruction, are so numerous - and remarkable - that they constitute a theme unto themselves for a tour of the medina. To the north are the Mesbahiya, Attarine, Seffarine and Cherratine Medersas. To the west lies the Bou Inania Medersa, and to the east, the Sahrij Medersa, not far from the Andalusian Mosque. Some have already been restored, while others are still being worked on - in an effort to save this incredibly rich legacy.
