Andalusian Mosque
O Guide Vert
Opinião do Guia Michelin
The Andalusian Mosque, founded shortly after the (9C) Karaouiyne Mosque, was enlarged and embellished by the Almohads in the early 13C and is the main sanctuary on the right bank. A great monumental door, decorated with zellige tiles and topped by a canopy in sculpted cedar wood, opens to the northwest and overlooks the entire quarter. To enjoy a better view of its slender silhouette, try to get a bit more perspective by going down the graded street that leads up to it.
