Although it is now home to a museum and restaurant (in the castle courtyard), this fortress overlooking Feldkirch retains its defensive character, with a keep on top of a rock and imposing fortifications. The high, cowl-roofed tower house was the original dwelling. The museum exhibits collections of religious art, Gothic furnishings, traditional peasant furniture, weapons and armour, as well as costumes.
