A lovely marble Gothic colonnade is the standout feature in this hall, whose star-shaped vaults were rebuilt in the Manueline era. Saint Elizabeth of Portugal died here in 1336, followed by King Pedro I in 1367. The Galeria de Desenho has been set up here and hosts temporary exhibitions (pottery, paintings, ceramics etc).
