Founded in 1924, since 2010 this art museum has been housed in an ultra-modern construction designed by architect Randall Stout, characterized by angular windows and a steel ribbon that winds its way round for nearly 200m/656ft. Spread over nearly 3,000m²/10,000ft², it presents regularly changing exhibitions that delve into the permanent collection of over 6,000 items that relate the development of Canadian art.
