Here, the famous wind towers are in fact merely reconstructions, like all of the alleyways built to resemble old Arabian towns. Its name is misleading: Madinat Jumeirah is not a traditional souk, but a complex with shops, where prices are non-negotiable, as well as hotels, restaurants and concert halls.
