Built at the beginning of the 17C, this half-buried church has arrow-slit openings. It has retained a fine iconostasis and, especially, a remarkable set of frescoes, painted in 1614 by anonymous artists. Note in particular the portraits of the benefactors, who are holding a model of the church (to the right of the door) and above all the famous scenes depicting the Transfiguration and the Resurrection.
