The Ford Rouge Factory Tour encompasses a small museum, the projection of two films and a look around the third Ford factory, opened in 1917 near Detroit. Its name comes from the Rouge River, a formidable waterway, thanks to which the necessary raw materials could be shipped in, thus securing its self-sufficiency. During the self-guided walking tour, you will see the assembly line and its workers in action from the vantage point of the elevated walkway.
