This Beaux Arts building inspired by the Opera Garnier in Paris is one of the finest buildings in Dallas. Built in 1903, this E-shaped structure is eight storeys high. With its rounded corners, its cornices and sculpted openings, it cuts a fine figure. Originally designed as a department store, the Wilson Building now houses apartments, as well as shops and restaurants on the ground floor.
