As you come from Livaria, a short way after the crossroads in the direction of Cusi Cusi, the formidable Valle de Marte unfolds before your eyes. A signpost dubs it "Valle de la Luna 2", in reference to Ischigualasto Provincial Park. But this high-altitude version, remote and to be relished on one's own, is not a mere "mark 2". The effect it produces exceeds that of its cousin. The colours, splashed over the waves of smooth rock, are quite simply incredible.
