During their hey-day in the 1920s, British trams transported 4.8 billion people a year. The Tramway Museum Society has preserved tram cars since 1955 and here proudly displays some lovingly restored models. You can admire the trams in the exhibition hall and go back to the "age of the tram" by taking a reconstructed street.
