From Coos Bay, the Cape Arago Highway skirts the coast, its beaches and rugged, wave-battered cliffs to reach the Arago Cape Lighthouse, which is particularly photogenic at sunset. From the top of its 150ft cliffs, it is possible to observe sea birds, whales, seals and sealions.
