Comino used to provide shelter for pirates but nowadays it welcomes swimmers and water sports enthusiasts - they flock here for the clear waters, which are especially beautiful in the Blue Lagoon. The only buildings to be found on this arid and deserted little island are a hotel, an observation tower and a chapel.
