Founded in 1878, the Columbus Museum of Art has amassed an impressive collection and seeks to highlight the main artistic movements of modern art. American Impressionism, European Cubism, German Expressionism: the Ashcan School and 20C American art all have their own dedicated galleries. In 2015 a new wing increased the exhibition space.
