It is perhaps the most famous gastronomic road in France. From Marlenheim to Thann over some 120km, it takes you on a whirlwind tour, mingling historic sites and contemporary gourmet treats, by way of vineyards, scenic villages, old castles, tasting cellars, fine restaurants, small chapels, winegrowing festivals and abbeys. Since the Romans planted vines here, it is safe to say that Alsace has made the most of this heritage!
