Little Putuo Island, which is home to a delightful pavilion dedicated to Guanyin, is named after Putuo Island in Zhejiang. This is one of the most bucolic sites around Lake Erhai. On the shore opposite the island, a Bai temple dedicated to Benzhu is used as a communal hall by many of the old locals who come here to play cards and mah-jong.
