The name "Studebaker" inscribed above the ground floor of this ten-storey building refers to its original use as a wagon showroom. The building was redeveloped in 1898 by Beman, who transformed it into the Fine Arts Building, adding a theatre and studio spaces, where musicians and artists still work. The impressive façade boasts Romanesque-style windows, columns crowned with capitals and vaulted entrances.
