This romantic park is the centrepiece of Joseph Pitt's elegant estate of Classical villas. The picturesque lake, tall trees and sweeping lawns are the backdrop for the Pittville Pump Room, a former spa building now used as a concert hall. As you come back towards the middle, to 4 Clarence Road, there is a museum devoted to the composer Gustav Holst (1874-1934) in a Regency-style house.
