This is the liveliest square in the Chefchaouèn medina. It is dominated by the kasbah and remarkable octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque crowned by a white "ruff". The square is lined by a large number of sidewalk cafes where you can enjoy the atmosphere and the setting of the surrounding mountains.
