This large aquarium showcases the fascinating creatures that inhabit the extreme north of Queensland. An underwater tunnel offers visitors a 360° view of an ocean tank populated by scalloped hammerhead sharks, common stingrays, guitarfish and unicornfish. The Great Barrier Reef Gallery shows off the many-coloured fish of the reefs off Cairns. The aquarium also presents the amphibians, lizards, snakes and fish that inhabit the rivers, mangroves and rainforests of Daintree.
