This residence is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's major architectural works. The guided tour starts with a fascinating exhibition about the town and Wright's work. Then you go on to see the stables, the conservatory, the gardener's cottage, Barton House, which was built for the owner's sister, and finally the prestigious Martin House, designed down to the furniture by FLW, "total architect". This architectural gem was, thankfully, saved from demolition in the 1950s.
