Opposite the Mercado Ver-o-Peso, the Mercado de Carne (meat market), also called the Mercado Bolonha, dates from 1907 and was entirely restored in 2011. Inside, four glass and wrought iron (from Glasgow) pavilions house the butcher's stalls. Climb to the top of the platform above the entrance for a splendid view of the whole market.
