Its beautiful architecture, elegant decoration (ironwork, gabled windows and weather vanes), famous varnished tiles and old well are more suited to a Gothic palace than a hospice. In the Grand'salle or "poor room", there is a 15C Christ of Pity statue. The Polyptych Room holds the famous Polyptych of the Last Judgment by Rogier van der Weyden.
