Located in the city's Assembly Rooms, this museum presents a wide variety of styles, fabrics and patterns used in all sorts of clothing and accessories over the centuries. Of particular interest are the silver lamé dress dating from the 1660s (the oldest piece in the museum) and the superb selection of gloves.
