This itinerary features three lakes, Johnson, Two Jack and Minnewanka that are ideal for all sorts of water sports. The latter, a dammed reservoir, is Banff Park's largest stretch of water. Tour boats operate cruises on this lake to Devil's Gap. The cruise stops at Bankhead, an abandoned early-20C coal-mining operation. A signposted park trail explains the history of the site.
