Renowned for its beauty, Sma' Glen is a site of steep, scree-covered slopes occupying part of Almond Valley. There is easy access to the banks of the River Almond, which flows between rocks. At the northern end of the glen is a huge boulder known as Ossian's Stone, said to have marked the grave of an ancient bard.
