A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it illustrates the height of the Gothic by the unity and boldness of its architecture. It is France's largest Gothic building, miraculously spared by war. Note the exceptional stalls, carved with 4,000 figures illustrating both religious scenes and those from daily life. The cathedral also houses polychrome sculptures from the 15C depicting the life of Saint Firmin.
