Hercules' temple is probably the oldest temple in Agrigento. Its eight archaic, Doric-style columns, rebuilt in the early 20C but somewhat dilapidated at present, make it possible for visitors to imagine the elegance that this building, dedicated to the legend of this man and his twelve tasks must once have assumed.
