Before you even set foot inside, an enormous meteorite sets the scene for this fascinating natural history museum. The collections revolve around four floors, with a special focus on primitive art and Australian biodiversity, in particular thanks to its fantastic Aboriginal art collection (boomerangs, ceremonial masks, bark paintings, shields, etc). Major extension work is planned to provide a venue worthy of the quality of its holdings.
