Clinging to the slopes, the road winds past panoramic views of spectacular bays: Cala di Recisa (cove with a sandy beach), Nichiareto Bay (barren terrain, pebble beach, straw huts, crystal clear waters) – a superb, indented coastline that you can contemplate as far as the tip of Capo a u Cavallo. After 6km without seeing the sea, the road descends towards the wide Crovani Bay. It again follows the coast, crossing the Col Bocca Bassa, a pass offering superb views of the surrounding landscape. Soon you come to the Gulf of Galéria, heralded by the superb, and huge, Riciniccia beach.
