On the Monument Valley road, don't miss Goosenecks State Park, a small but exceptional natural site. It's as if an immense void has struck out part of the terrain and, at the bottom, a fascinating series of meanders from San Juan River flows in a 300m-deep canyon. At this point, the river has so many tight turns that almost 10km of its course are squeezed into just 2.5km as the crow flies!
