This one-mile (1.6 km) hiking trail winds through the famous, strangely-shaped rocks for which Joshua Tree Park is famous. Legend has it that cattle rustlers used to hide their booty here. Hidden Valley is one of the park's most popular rock-climbing areas. The hiking trail starts at the Hidden Valley campground on Park Blvd, north of the park.
