Perched on a hill overlooking the Lot Valley, this *bastide*—ranked among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France"—offers a remarkable setting. As you enter the village, the line of the old ramparts comes into view; now converted into a promenade, they are lined with houses. The village has retained its original *bastide* layout, featuring narrow streets. From the small public garden, there is a lovely view of the Boudouyssou Valley, planted with vines and corn (an orientation table is provided). Note the lunar clock on the belfry.
