Piscia di Gallo ("Pine Waterfall") tumbles 70m down the side of a cliff, the flow sustained throughout the summer thanks to a dam: the Barrage l'Ospédale. After following a pleasant path through the pines and heather, you reach a mountain face that marks the start of the descent to the waterfall via a very steep path that requires you to use your hands. Allow 1hr 15min there and back. The beauty of the site and the astonishing giants' kettles reward your efforts.
