Part of The Dolder Grand luxury hotel, this fantastic outdoor restaurant is located just below the top station of the Dolderbahn funicular. A lift sweeps you up to the third floor of the modern annexe, which boasts a magnificent terraced garden on the edge of the forest. Sitting on the little individual terraces, close to nature, surrounded by vegetable beds, fruit bushes, herbs and blooming flowers is truly idyllic. The different levels create a sense of intimacy. A striking red sculpture by artist Keith Haring stands out against this backdrop of greenery. This interesting concept is the brainchild of Heiko Nieder, who, alongside a dedicated team led by sous-chef Robin Briner, serves up fully vegan cuisine. Expect modern, seasonal dishes such as "ceviche of courgette, radish & green papaya" or "corn pasta with pepper cress, chanterelles & smoked tofu". Order à la carte or opt for the "Chef's Choice" set menu, which comprises four to six courses. N.B. The restaurant is open from May to September and only in good weather – your booking will be cancelled in the event of rain.
