This charming restaurant has moved into a former smithy right in the heart of the city. Gorgeous details such as ornamental tiles, beautiful hardwood floors, decorative ceiling mouldings and Art Nouveau lamps have been skilfully combined to create a distinctive decor with a hint of nostalgia. Fine tableware is elegantly set directly on the wooden tables, and guest sit on stylish upholstered chairs in a classic style. The menu features dishes such as hand-cut beef tartare with gherkin, egg yolk and crispy onions, and desserts that include Bircher muesli with banana ice cream. Service is exceptionally friendly and attentive – the owner occasionally makes an appearance to talk diners through his dishes in person.
