This small restaurant in the Adalberthof courtyard, part of the Amalienpassage, is an offshoot of Jürgen Wolfsgruber's nearby Sparkling Bistro. The cuisine has a distinctly Austrian character. In addition to a concise à la carte selection, there is a five-course "Tschecherl's Ö-Makase" set menu, plus a two-course lunch. Where legendary Tantris chef Hans Haas once ran his cookery school, diners now enjoy a pleasingly sleek, minimalist setting and professional service, with the open kitchen providing interesting glimpses of the action.
