The interior of the heritage-listed cattle hall of the former abattoir in Hamburg's Schanzenviertel is quite unique – exposed concrete and brick walls, visible ventilation pipes, stylish, comfortable chairs and benches set around wooden tables, and all manner of decorative details, such as comic-book figurines, pictures and lamps, combine in the airy, high-ceilinged space to create a truly individual blend of industrial architecture and trendy, high-grade style. Diners can also sit on bar stools at the large counter. The modern cuisine makes a strong case for itself, not least with its various grilled cuts of meat. At lunchtime, the front section of the restaurant operates as "Deli", with a shorter, simpler menu.
