Yangkyungoak, which means “the house shining bright”, is famous for its Pyongyang-style naengmyeon. The noodles are made fresh to order, giving them a chewy, silky texture. The nutty meat, fragrant buckwheat, lightly seasoned broth and springy noodles create a harmonious balance, while the tangy cabbage and radish add an extra layer of umami. The bulgogi and pyeonyuk are also worth trying.
