The quiet and spruce Design District, north of Wynwood, is perpetually undergoing redevelopment. It is practically empty in the evenings, when the shops close; here, it is all about contemporary art, decorative arts and designer clothes, with luxury boutiques, trendy restaurants, art galleries and murals. Palm Court is the epicentre of the neighbourhood and hosts all kinds of events, as well as housing one of R. Buckminster Fuller's Fly's Eye Domes.
